Honestly, if you're gonna do a full chrono run-through of an artist's career, Beck's got to be one of the best to do it for. surely one of the least predictable career trajectories this side of David Bowie, & for the most part he's consistent

what do you think of that Modest Mouse album? Lampshades on Fire is prob one of their best ever, but I don't remember being 2 hot on most of the other stuff

It's probably my least favorite MM album but there's at least five tracks that are keepers. I hadn't listened to it in full for a while and my impression remains the same as when it was released.

I really liked Poison the Well from last year. Hopefully the new record lives up to that.

what's yer favorite album? i honestly kinda side with Good News for mostly nostalgic-ish reasons but deep down, i know it's on an objective level prob between Lonesome Crowded & Moon Antarctica
