Adore Vinyl (2014)

Is there any info on the vinyl release? I'm just wondering if there is any point pre-ordering it... that is unless they release it in stereo, and maybe with 17...

Not sure if the vinyl listing I saw already had a correct description, or was guessing from the label pr:
No 17, remastered, mono. No booklet. So what we already have, besides an empty D side.

Personally I hope that isn't legit, because that would be a pretty lame vinyl reissue.

Really, though - I think this is all we know about the thing, which is weird and wild. No idea what this whole 'sold out' thing that Zuzu keeps slapping on their Adore stuff means. It's not like these releases are limited.

What theory are you talking about?
17 mono does not appear on the Adore CD boxset either.
Disc 1 - Adore stereo.
Disc 2 - Adore mono, no 17.

And if you read the posts in this thread - nobody has seen confirmed info if the vinyl reissue is a remastered version of the original or different.
The question was why they WOULD leave out 17.

Well, crap - call me a pathetic drooling fanboy, but I didn't think I needed the reissue of Adore on vinyl til I saw that photo. Looks radical.

Not exactly sure why I've been buying up these reissues on vinyl as well as CD since I've got the original pressings, but I have been... so I suppose no sense in stopping now.

Pretty sure with this one I can wait until some international Amazon deal shows up (see: TAFH) or an Amazon pricing error (see: MCIS) or an instore deal of some sort (see: Gish and Siamese BOGO from Hot Topic) happens though.

It's nice to hear the album without the manufacturing skips in my old mono version. Hearing so many sweet little production details. Who else has been spinning this?

I haven't opened mine, good to hear there are problems with it. Amazing he did a good job on the adore reissue.

ugh mine did that too at the beginning of shame. sold it without an afterthought because i knew the person to buy it would never listen to it
