i was trying out my script logo mxr distortion + through my 1963 ampeg reverberocket (they both just got back from the shop). I think I'm going to have to go with the reverberocket as my main amp from now on. It sounds like a AC30 with better reverb and vibrato. My other two main amps (a seventies Ampeg V-4 and a 60's Univox 1226) are too loud and too heavy. The distortion plus is fucking classy. Overall I am pleased with the job my amp tech did and he was wearing a neil young shirt. pretty cool.

i tried it once, but the hole was just too big, i then tried a watermelon and it was a bit better. when you are at it, punch him in the face and tell him to release bridge school, back when sp was good and not making zwanchina
