and when i say trying i mean getting therapy, having a drug that works for you, going ouside, exercising, eating right. ive lost ten pounds! im keeping busy! im learning photoshop! i feel ok! i dont find EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE annoying. you actually do have to fucking try this isnt republicanism.

ive made a concerted effort doing these things and its paying off. i still have serious attacks of DOOOOOOM that actually physically hurt but i try to meditate, realize the now. how good it feels to breathe.

there are people with clinical depression without suicidal thoughts. it might be considered mild or moderate but it's still clinical depression and still very unpleasant.

I'm glad you feel good but I find it strange that you are saying "you have to fucking try" when I know you know that when you are depressed enough the idea of exercising or leaving the house at all is so daunting as to be basically impossible. If someone is so depressed they don't do these things it's not simply a matter of not trying - having the will to try is something that people lose when they are depressed. It's a symptom.

Like you sound really strange, the way you're typing. It actual makes me worry for you. You were not doing as well even just a week or two ago. Like I'm glad you feel good right now but I hope you don't have a comedown from this feeling. I also have problems "realizing the now" because of my derealization. I hope one day I'll be able to. We practice it a lot in therapy. Right now I feel dissociated 24/7 and have for at least 15 years so it's really hard to be absorbed in anything that's happening in any one moment. How does it feel to be able to do that?

I've been having some other problems lately - nothing severe, but shitty none-the-less. Thinking about suicide a little. Not eating right or exercising. Breathing doesn't feel good.

I'm not trying to dismantle what Trots is saying with or have a logical debate, I'm just saying he's being an asshole and his hypocrisy is a subset of his asshole behaviour. We're dealing with a person who is depressed and suicidal and the kingpin of suicidal depression not only tells him to "shut the fuck up and find peace or kill yourself" all the while denying that he's being a hypocrite or that he suggested to someone to kill themselves. Everyone knows that Trots is well experienced and versed with depression, and yet he's making a colossal failure of depression 101 in this thread.

I'm not trying to pull you down, you just are saying the exact same things you would have yelled at someone for saying a month ago, without adding why exactly it's different now that you're saying it. You DO understand which is why you sound strange saying because you're basically denying that experience by saying what you're saying. I also don't appreciate you putting my education into this at all as a way to demean me, I'm not speaking as some beacon of understanding, I'm just a person like you who struggles with depression. the way he's able to twist things around in his own head to make himself accept his own disgusting behavior is astounding to me, time and time again

like he slowly and steadily distorts the truth in his own little way which nobody bothers to correct him about, and goes on to build rotten logic constructs on them. it must be maddening to deal with irl but here you can just go back and see exactly what he wrote.
