Huh, I've never thought about it that way. Drum machines always turned me off, I never really got that they were sought after and trendy in the 90s

I think that all that sounded somewhat futuristic or just flat out different in the 90s. As it's practically industry standard now to use drum machines and/or drum samples on everything my ear has gotten real sensitive to fake sounding drums.

Even though I think "Eye" is a cool song the fake drums really bother my ear and ruin the whole listening experience for me now... which is not a problem I had with that song when it first came out like almost 20 years ago now or whatever.

electronic gear was very accessible in the 90's, especially quality gear to a band like SP.
b0lly just doesn't have an ear for what good electronics are. who produced that track? (probably b0lly himself...)

false.

Adore has some great electronics. TFE has some great electronics.

both produced by BC.

i think his more recent electronic dabblings, e.g., run2meeeeeee, one diamond one heart, being beige, are generally worse than his older ones, e.g., beautiful, all of adore, the sacred and profane (and many more).

although i do think monuments was a pretty rockin song. loved the synths in that one.

Adore had Flood, TFE Thorsrud and Harris.

I'm missing the point here?

Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals. Except the weasel.

was looking for PS because I grabbed a cheap copy of the Cherub Rock 7", avoiding that dummy who's been uploading the same version for $499 on ebay for the past 3+ years.
