So, like, they're gonna be streaming their music forever in the void?

For what reason? There is nothing planned like the Shitgeist reissue that could justify it...
I know I'm a broken record around the internet with this but I must reiterate that this is why I can never get on board with streaming. Shit can just be taken off/changed/modified/deleted and songs can be changed* on a whim by whoever wants it.

* just today saw a friend post that one of her favorite songs is on Spotify but is some alternate version.

my approach to streaming music at this point is to use it to listen to albums and music i haven't heard before, if i like them enough, i go and buy a physical copy (what ever form that may be)

As I understand it, the residents of Alpha Centauri have been picking up Candlebox's self-titled debut album since about 1997

Yeah we were all definitely complaining about this in 2008.

Are you saying we begrudged the listening pleasure of the residents of Alpha Centuri way back then?

Funny, I think I would recall having been bent out of shape about it. But for me, I was just too busy being stoked that SP was back and that I was buying everything/anything to the point where such heretical thoughts that were anti-BC were not entertained.

It is strange how lately on his Instagram Q+As, it seems like Zeit is discussed more than any other album. SO MANY PEOPLE are like "why can't it come back to streaming?" as if that's the only way to listen to music. Kids these days!
