Just for the record, I cook tons of stuff for her that we can both eat, but sometimes I wanna be like "Girl, I made us a pizza. Enjoy!"

Gluten-free pasta is really OK. I can barely tell the difference.

Yeah. Been to the doctor, been tested and all that. Not just following trends or nothin'.

I really don't want to go back to that. Fighting too much work

Sorry that she has awful allergies. Here's a very quick recipe from my heart for you two to do when you're stuck in a Maine snow storm:
- pasta boiled to al dente
SAUCE:
- San marzano tomatoes in a can accept no substitutions
- like 10 capers
- oil marinated olives. Like 4? (brine is gross)
- 4 cloves garlic
- butter

Sautee garlic in oil until kinda brown. Add tomatoes. Reduce forever. When nice and thick, add capers and olives. Cook with added ingredients as well as some pasta water until reduced. Add knob of butter at the end. Toss and slightly cook pasta with sauce. You should have been tasting for salt this whole time. Eat.

Sounds tasty AF. She can't do butter though.

We'd probably add meat to that recipe, also.

ok i didn't want my pizza to be so close to the gross ass cricket Flaming Bowls posted

check this shit out
after some experimentation i came up with a system to make a decent pizza using my weak ass toaster oven. i'm frying the dough on a pan first, then load it on a pan and apply all the toppings, then send it off into the oven with the top grill turned on full blast. it's as good as i can do with these very limited conditions - taste was good

Looks really good for no oven pizza and Chinese ingredients (is stuff like a good cheese hard to find there?).

pizza is really, really hard to make

i don't know why exactly. maybe it's the visibility of everything. if you're making a cake you can just piss the batter in a pan and it will probably come out. pizza, you have to lay the dough flat, lay out toppings, and pray everything gets cooked nicely. very challenging

Pizza looks good, would look even better with some greasy pepperonis on top.
