Confessions, I feel like it could be a decent song but the keys are a bit bland, the drum sound is tinny, and I see Billy is going Full-American-Gothic singing style again.

Yeah Wrath is easily the best of the new 4 I'd say.

Just listening to Shiny 1 for comparison's sake.

Wow I forgot how bad the "whoa whoa whoa" is on Knights of Malta. Couldn't finish it.

Silvery Sometimes must be one of the best songs he's released this millennium. Has a Zwan or Machina feel to it. Maybe Try?

Travels has that same vibe but it's a bit plodding. I like the mix on his vocals better the last 2 songs. This is too long and the drums are pretty thuddy.

Solara is pretty bad. Reminds me of GLOW. Billy's singing seems out of tune in a couple of places. This is definitely 21st Century Pumpkins rock. Sub-Zeitgeist and Oceania for sure.

Alienation is terrible. Is this supposed to be an anthem type of song? Reminds me of late-era U2.

Marchin' On. Guitar have a bit of Machina II vibe. Even the vocals. Definitely the vocals. Why not more like this?

With Sympathy. Like Silvery, definitely one of the best songs he's released in 20 years.

Seek and Destroy. Not the best but better than Travels, Solara and Alien Nation. And Malta.

Confessions the vox just kill me. Musically yeah, this sounds like The Future Embrace or something. Stuff like Eye and Beginning is the End is in the same general vein but darker and much better.

Wrath still sounds pretty TFE. His vocals are much better here. The mix isn't too bad. Yeah this is another song that ranks up there with the best he's released in the last while. These songs don't really build up to anything though. I remember him talking about Geek USA and dynamics in songs and Billy saying sometimes you can't just keep speeding up, and the drop in Geek is so powerful. None of these songs have any dynamics. It's all just mid-tempo 100bpm.

Cyr I just can't stand. One of my least favourite tracks post-2000.

Colour of Love. This is okay. Better than Cyr. Still pretty plodding despite the fast tempo. The synth line reminds me of being in Sears and trying out the $100 keyboard.

I don't get the love for songs.
