Thumbs up the first Ben Folds Five album

I just bought it last night and wow! What a great disc! I'm listening at work so it has to be b4ckground music right now, but it's still better than Whatever and Ever Amen... Needs more fuzz bass though. Or maybe I just can't hear it through this shitty boombox. I hate work...

Say... I noticed the Best Buy label said "BEN FOLDS FIVE: BETS OF" when it obviously was the first, self-titled record... IS this a mistake from Best Buy (although I've seen that in a few other stores), or is this more of Ben Folds' odd sense of humor?

I'm digging Philosophy and Julianne, btw

I've noticed that before, but it's usually on copies of "Whatever..." I don't know what the deal is with that, but it's pretty funny and still usually makes me do a double-take.

I have no clue why they did that. Maybe something in a Ben Folds Five FAQ somewhere?

I like the album, but Whatever and Ever Amen I think is still a lot better. Boxing is a wonderful song.
