Default Whose planning on making it down on the first show on Arizona?

This is a pretty historic moment. Kind of a must see for hardcore SP fans.

When GnR did the first show of their tour in Vegas, fans all over the world traveled in to see it. It was a great big party with fans meeting up and just celebrating the occasion that they didn't think they'd ever get the chance to see in their lives. I really wanted to make it out to it, but I simply couldn't figure it out financially at the time.

I've got a nice chunk of disposable income right now, and I don't wanna miss out again, so I'm seriously considering making the trek out to Arizona for this show. It's not a very long flight from where I'm at and really, if you wanna see a show like this, the first show of the tour is the one to see! Otherwise we're gonna be on Youtube knowing exactly what to expect when we do finally make it out to a show on the tour we'll know the song and dance and the surprise will be gone.

Few things like this come up for fans of a band like this. We only live once, I think this would be a killer show to see. And Arizona that time of year? Forget about it. Would be Heaven on earth.

Oh goddamn it, can one of the mods fix the title header for the thread?

Reprise, Pave, JJ? *puppy dog eyes*

I was watching a choppy live feed of a basketball game so the computer was super laggy when I typed that... Didn't even notice

yes warm like 105 degrees warm (40 C).

and i had a great time at the OP. it was the first residency they did. i drove 1000 miles each way to get there. it was perfect, everything i could have wanted (except for james and darcy). the show was fantastic.

Jeeze, I actually might melt under those conditions. I'm a bit of a fair-skinned man and I probably won't have much color built up out here in Canada by the time of the show.

It's the first show with James/Jimmy and Billy since 2000... Definitely seems like a lot of fans would wanna be there for that.

I was there for it two years ago, in March 2016.

The Pumpkins are fucking nervous for the first show!
I guess, they therefore want to play only to some hillbillies at the tour start.

So you're probably welcome...

But what if they do a little spontaneous extra show before to warm up? Thrill would be gone...

no idea why they wouldn't play a few small shows in the chicago area to start

even if they're being completely inauthentic sellouts, that at least looks like they give a shit and endears them to people

I would rather be dead in California than alive in Arizona.

Already been said by Buttcannon down there, but... yeah, no - they've played together a few times since - 4? - now, all in 2016.

I would be right there with you headed to Arizona for the first show of the tour if:

a.) D'Arcy was going to be there (all four would truly be something - I would fly anywhere for that, even Arizona in July)

b.) We didn't all know that the setlist was going to be the same each night due to the CRITICAL IMPORTANCE of this tour being a success

c.) It was on a weekend.

But due to b.) as seen above, I'm going to have to go radio dark for those two months before the shows I'm hitting. Which is a shame, because you know by then James and Billy will have had a major meltdown and he'll be kicked off the tour in like Columbus, Ohio or something and I won't know it until I get in line for the San Diego show in September.
