I really like the art direction. I was afraid it was going to be some Linda-ish nonsense.

I'd probably have bought Sidhartha if it had this kind of quality. It actually seems like a professional graphic design team was involved. If it turns out Linda was involved I'll happily eat my hat.

Didn't Billy say he wanted everyone on the plainsong tour to guest on the album, including James and Jimmy? Wonder if that panned out.

When is the last time anything he announced panned out as planned?

Has anyone pointed out how eerie it is that his baby mommy looks just like James Iha?

the instagram artwork... pics are good, but the gold frames really clash with the content and ruin it.

and ogilala is totally a refrence to baby auggi/agustus.

I don't know how anyone can complain about a song not appearing on this album. As if it wouldn't be completely disappointing to hear the album version?

Also, since the vocals are so upfront and seemingly dead center on this track, can someone isolate it and remix it? Probably still not very good.

you're totally right, but it's the principle that's irritating. put good songs on the record and leave bad songs as b-sides

So about a week ago WPC gave me a heads up and wanted me to pass on this information in case of any confusion.
Each show will be WPC "totally solo" and contain 2 sets. The 1st set will be new music. The second set will be "a chronological walk through every notable period in my musical life ".
In locations with multiply shows "The first set still being new, but with a different flow, the second totally different songs ".

Paraphrasing from Reddit, but Half-Life of an Autodidact could be Cardinal Rule.

Half a world of winter light
Half a world of summer
Half a world of bliss
Is half a world of you"

Awful name change if so

Three separate Day For Night/SFTMITHOTS tracklistings, just so I can go back later and see if there are any similarities. I'll have a hearty chuckle if "The Long Farewell" was "Toodle-Loo" and that word appears in the lyrics.

I'm curious about how much got salvaged and how much got COUGARED.

Oct. 2, 2014:

BURNT ORANGE BLACK
SWORD FROM THE STONE
CARDINAL RULE
FULLSAIL
ROUSTABOUT
THE SPANIARDS
CALX
ERSTWHILE
NINE PLANET ROCK (or FEAR OF A 10TH PLANET)

Nov. 4th:

MAGIK, MAGIK
SOLARA
CARDINAL RULE
ROUSTABOUT
CALK
STSNBN
FULLSAIL
THE DAUPHINE
GODSPEED
CALX
BURNT ORANGE BLACK

Last known from 2015:

CALX
BURR
MAGIK, MAGIK
EYES AFIRE
TOODLE-LOO
ROUSTABOUT
FALLZ
OVERJOYED
STARRY VAULT
X's + O's

Most of the stupid nonsense song titles are gone. Minus what might end up being Cardinal Rule. Was secretly hoping Red Dirt would make it.

Also, he might sell more of the clothing if he took the weirdo album title off of them.

"What's Ogilala?"
Why, haven't you heard? It's the new album from William Patrick Corgan!

Roustabout was later used as a theme for TNA wrestling.

It's terrible.

It is legitimately horrifying that Roustabout survived every incarnation of the tracklist. Even if the wrestling theme was a snippet, I'd call the general vibe proof positive DFN needed to die.
