Default Marchin' On - vocal redux remix

This isn't as extreme a remix as Doomsday Clock, as the vocals don't sit quite as high out in the mix like on that track. The differences are slighter but I think it's still an improvement.

I also added a bit of reverb on the instruments to give the drums a bit more presence, you can hear this well in the bridge when JC does those long fills. Also the strings stand out a bit more.

I'll never hear what you changed because I only have shitty laptop speakers/even shittier headphones right now; I do appreciate the effort, but what a joke opportunity!

i never thought Shiny suffered so much from overloud vox as it did the neutered drum production, but I appreciate yer efforts nonetheless

Yeah the drums when you can hear them are really bad sounding. Plus the wave form itself for the backing music is so brickwalled. I've never seen anything like it. Zero room for any dynamics.

"Sure, I'll pass your comments to Rick Rubin.
Also: Tell the music industry, which is why my trademark brickwall-max-vox is reaching a new audience. The Pumpkins have never been better. Also I'm an artist who only listens to 1930's music, fuck trends. BLOCKED"

The irony is, there's probably plenty of hobbyist producers even on this forum who could mix the SP album better than it actually was done.

even the band just mixing it themselves would be a step up, i certainly enjoying listening to Machina 2 w/ all its hisses & weird levels more than Ricked & O So Rubin'd
