I don't even feel like I'm on drugs when I'm on downers, I feel like I've become regular again. Perhaps a better way to say that is I get pretty irritated when I don't have any weed.

Pills are the easiest thing to lose track of for me. I never pay attention to how many I take and suddenly I am asleep. It's not really a matter of control, it's more my inability to feel the pills until I've taken enough to knock me out. I'm bad at remaining in the haze..I'm either asleep or sober. It's a relaxing process though

Sometimes benzos make me outrageously angry. Has this happened to you? I find that odd because they are used as anti-anxiety medicine and yet they are increasing my tension. This only happens when I have been using them for many days in a row though, so I guess that's all I need to know.
eh. i don't abuse them but i use them pretty much everyday. i'm chemically dependent. today would've been day 3 but i realized that starting benzo detox 2 days before a 10 day trip to mexico is just asking for trouble. and just the small amout of withdrawal that i've experienced so far is enough to get an idea of what the rest of the week will be like.

full steam when I get back, though. i have special vitamins for withdrawal, and will be receiving treatment out-patient. my parents are ready, i'm ready. not gonna be fun though.

p.s. do you take just hand fulls of pills or do you space them out at all?

I am going to stop too. I fear car rides and the urge to light up. Do you do anything to subdue cravings?

i got twizzlers and when i wanted to smoke i chewed on a few. helped with the oral fixation a little i guess. its been like 18 days now and i'm not having cravings at all except tiny ones when i am driving and see someone else smoking and driving. i actually went past someone at the grocery store today and smelled smoke on them and it made me a little nauseous.

when do you want to plan to stop?

Have you tried nicoderm?

The gum thing?

Just curious

When I was in the hospital a few times and couldn't smoke I had them. I've never used them to try and quit, no.

Does anyone here chew tobacco?

My brother does.

He would leave empty cups/bottles of chew everywhere, it was disgusting.

He also found a couple of cancerous sores in his mouth, and he still continued to chew...

My dad had the same empty bottle/cup/tin habit

Then around the house I would find various tins of Kodiak/Copenhagen/Grizzly.

HE would always be like "Damnit, lost my chew!!!"

Then I would find 3 tins and say "Hey, found your dip!"

reprise: I am going to stop tomorrow. I got to a pack every two days, so now I know it's getting out of hand (for me anyway). I feel like i am going to really want to replace the cigs with something else.

Mooney: How much was the e-cig? You recommend it?

psychedelics and weed are probably the worst shit someone with a dissociative disorder could do.

jus sayin'

good point on the weed, but i think psychedelics could go either way. wouldn't be for a long time anyway if it ever happens, i'm not in any rush

Yeah, they definitely took away any cravings and did a little for the oral fixation. Taste horrible though, although maybe that's a good thing. I'm sure there are some better tasting brands out there than whatever I had.
