Keanu did some great work after the Matrix films.
A Scanner Darkly and Constantine are awesome. Street Kings is pretty good as far as cop films go. He held his own in that one. Thumbsucker is a great indie film. He really surprised me with that one and A Scanner Darkly.

i havent kept up with the rest but constantine was garbage. he refused when they requested him for a sequel
.i'm a huge fan of linklater and PKD so scanner darkly was a big deal for me. but something about it didn't quite work. they should do a rotoscoped Valis next |

Thumbsucker kind of has a mumblecore feel to it. Never thought I'd see Keanu Reeves in a mumblecore film. I actually think Thumbsucker is one of the best coming-of-age films I've ever seen. It depicts adolescence very realistically. It's a very touching film.
The only thing I sort of didn't like about Constantine was Shia's sidekick character. Found him slightly annoying at times. But even his performance didn't detract from it too much. |

Constantine is the only good movie he has done since the 2nd Matrix.

also he likes to be ridiculous in really big movies and people love it...i think it was a self-aware joke that got out of hand but serioulsy bringing out the dead, raising arizona, leaving las vegas, adaptation...he's a talented guy with a particular style. that being over-the-top, just on the edge of being totally fruitcakes |

Keanu Reeves.
That's Hawaiian for NEO, which is Latin for SHITTY ACTOR. That's all he's accomplished, BEING A SHITTY ACTOR. |

My love for River's Edge kept me on his side for many years but I watched 47 Ronin the other day and that might have been the last straw.

Cage was also great in Bad Lieutenant, The Weather Man, 8mm, Vampire's Kiss, Kiss of Death, and Lord of War.

he's a great actor but he has to say "yes" to whatever role is offered him because he went bankrupt buying german castles and $7 billion albino cobra snakes

He also had two albino King Cobras, this person says, as well as “an antidote serum on the wall, so that if you got bit by a snake you could save yourself.” |

I think Lord of War was the first movie that made me think Jared Leto was a seriously talented actor.

the scene with the ridiculous screaming and high kicks is precisely why you hire nick cage and why he's worked with so many great directors
i mean when you think of it scorsese lynch coens spike jonze ridley scott werner herzog even john woo i'm sure there's more |
