OK, I've now listened to the whole 30-something minutes a few times now and am pretty convinced that I've found my least favorite.

Alienation is terrible. travels is probably second worst

Travels / With Sympathy are probably the best, though in recent weeks Alienation has come up higher for me. Unlike for most people, from what I can gather!

just clicking on this thread and looking at that hilariously lengthy abbreviation and thinking about the entirety of what "The Smashing Pumpkins" has been and thinking about that stupid fucking title and the dumb shitty album full of garbage music that shouldn't exist and what a fucking dickhole billy is and looking at the morbid formatting on this paleolithic Vbulletin messageboard that i joined when I was 15 and now i'm 29 and my knees hurt and my life sucks... it kinda makes me sad y'know.

I think I could tolerate Malt Balls if it was just one of many songs on an actual full length album; an attempt (however misguided) to be more experimental that sits somewhere in the middle or towards the end. But by making it the album opener and releasing it as a single, it’s almost as if Billy is saying to his fans, “Oh, you hated Widow Wank My Mind but you were excited that I got James and Jimmy back? Well, FUCK YOU, here’s a song that’s even more annoying, and James and Jimmy contributed to it! Hahahaha!”

6. Verla (7 minute epic, hints of Porcelina and end of Soma, amazing JC drums)

8. Seek and You Shall Destroy
9. Plunge (a James Iha rocker, with Iha on vocals)
