billy's voice is sounding better on this boot.. seems he's getting rid of that annoying habit of not pronouncing the consonants and over use of vibrato. still there somewhat but i'm hearing more passion from his voice here.
Siva, Eye and Speed Kills all sound killer. LOVE the jam in the middle of Siva.. and i'm really digging the trippy noise jam they do during set the controls.. kinda sonic youthy. I'm hoping this is the kind of direction they are thinking about going into for the upcoming album. good show.. the band sounds like it's starting to gel. never thought i'd say that about this lineup. |

Interesting sounding boot. You get a ton of Billy's guitar and the room echo of the rest of the band. Now all we need is someone to have taped in front of Jeff and someone in front of Ginger and we can have our own Zareika.
Thanks for posting this! |

Yeah I really can't get over Speed Kills. It's so beautiful. The solo and the spacey guitars are phenomenal. It's too good!

Haha yeah that was hilarious! I remember he was laughing his ass off and Jimmy was chuckling and shaking his head. Haha, real funny moment.

Also, I haven't listened to the whole boot, but the "new" Superchrist rocked live. Jimmy had a cool moment with the gong in the beginning. And Lisa went to fucking town on the organ throughout the whole song. So there's a lot more keys going on in it.

Holy crap, I'm listening to them play Siva right now. Not only is this boot awesome but the songs are kicking ass. I've NEVER heard Siva being played like this before. Made my night.
Thank you so much for posting and taping this show!! |
