Yes I wanted to ask if anyone has discussed (in a thread) the word zeitgeist and its implications. The collective unconscious and etc...

if the album were truly hanging on with the zeitgeist theory than no press would be necessary. Everybody would just magically *get it* and nod knowingly...

And I think I may only be half joking...

i don't think the album will be overly political. At least not about the war and America's involvement. With a name like zeitgeist i would assume for it to be a much more worldly album. Something that would go above and beyond *America* and its claptraps and pitfalls...

This kind of fits in with the environmental angle that was discussed...

Earth in general as opposed to America specifically

The ideas and feelings expressed on the album would have to be from the vantage point of the world at large


edit: as opposed to an american band being mad about an american war
