Oceania would have been waaaaay better than zeitgeist had the real band been involved. Billy’s songwriting was better on Oceania but he had the shittiest backing band. Like, first time he lets another bass player record an sp song since Darcy and she just shits all over that record.

The songwriting is better on Zeitgeist, it's just the vocal production blows. Oceania was a major production improvement, but the writing and musicianship was a downgrade.
