I thought about going keto but everything has carbs in it. I need beans.

I went keto for a couple of months, I felt like I couldn't eat enough plant food. Even salad and spinach and onion are carby in the amounts that I tend to eat them.

I eat a lot of rice so the only major move I made was to sub cauliflower for brown rice. I shave it myself and the frozen variety is more expensive. A head only yields about 3 cups though, and it's not like real rice where 1 cup fluffs to 4-5 servings.

I cook a lot of chicken thighs and a cool trick I discovered is to cook the cauliflower rice in the leftover chicken oil/grease/muck.

i've been on a diet for about two weeks now and have somehow not gotten bored of veggies. i don't do anything especially creative with them, but there is such huge variety. made a mix of carrots, mushrooms, yellow bell pepper, broccoli, cauliflower, snap peas, yellow squash, zucchini, and water chestnuts a few nights ago and it was really damn good.

I'm going on a diet and am basically just eating what I usually do, but less of it. lost 10 pounds in a month

i also just don't eat breakfast and drink coffee to stop the hunger pains. yay that's healthy

coffee is my one daily allowance because i'm not going to function well without it. but if some cream and sugar is the unhealthiest thing i eat all day, that's not too bad. my scale is packed for the move so idk what i've lost yet but my clothes are a little loser.

you'd be better off drinking a slim fast or the generic version (which i used to take and drink in my early morning class)

you do need to eat some carbs every meal though. breakfast doesn't have to be big but it's important.

The Whole 30 does come in a package alongside cult-like activities such as CrossFit that float the promise of group belonging and a sense of superiority over the pitiful norms of a society in decline, but that shit genuinely does work.

Plus, it's only temporary and can be done in such a way that you're eating satisfying quantities of only delicious meals all month while shedding kilos like a Bolivian crop-duster.

sounds good except for the mix of liquids. i had half a snickers, four sticks of celery, and 3 baby carrots when i got home.

i'm trying to avoid bread, dairy, and crunchy things while i get over pneumonia since dairy thickens sputum and the thought of coughing up dry stuff just hurts.
