You mean the reissue box set? Album Art Exchange has them.

No the alternative covers that frank blogged about and posted when he was doing archive stuff. There were several variations on the same theme.

No not the concept sketches by Billy. I'm talking about the variations that John Craig (the guy that made the cover and the other inside collages based on billy's sketches) submitted for approval. There were several and Billy picked the one we all know.
Frank Quinto blogged about it and posted all the cover variations. Jesus Christ on a cross am I not typing clear enough? |

I remember but I never saved the files. I always figured they'd be released in higher quality later on.
the only thing I have saved is this bigger version of the artwork http://i.imgur.com/sWWKaEF.jpg here's an article about John Craig and MCIS http://www.npr.org/blogs/therecord/2...ic-album-cover |

Do you know when Frank blogged about it (month/year)? Wayback Machine (http://archive.org/web/)? |

It was around 2009 that he started. I tried using the wayback machine on archive.org but it only archives the main page. I also could find hardly any reference to the archive project.

my problem isn't that he's a jackass, but that he's useless.
You might as well claim to be in charge of the Archive project, you've gotten as much done! |

Yea I've tried the Wayback and I'm really surprised I couldn't find anything anywhere online about this, as if it was never reblogged anywhere. Not even on HU.
Maybe somebody knows somebody on the O-board to ask? |

I don't think it was so much of a blog entry but an article on the main page. But I will look again anyway. Thanks

I have all of Quinto's mailing archive newsletters and it's not mentioned there either. So pretty sure it was a front-page article.

I remember exactly what he was talking about as well. I remember another particularly good interview with Jimmy from The Frogs. Too bad all that shit got wiped out.
