My store is still somewhat barren because of the hurricane, so I've been trying some different gatorade flavors since we're out of the popular ones. The lemonade is surprisingly good. Usually lemonade is really strong and overpowering to me but I really like the gatorade one. I bought a couple today.
Yesterday I bought a bunch of groceries and deodorant. And some underpants on amazon.

edit: also just got some socks. $9.99 for 8 pairs of 85% cotton socks? yes please. they have no reviews but they have free returns so I have nothing to lose really

I'm treating myself to this for Christmas

It's the Stauer Guitar Watch

https://stauer-cdn-bi1tspyakbh4frq6p.../18312_800.jpg

(The websites write-up)

Rock around the clock tonight

Standing in front of the guitar shop window was the greatest thrill and the worst kind of torture. As a kid, I never had the money to shell out for a mint-condition Gibson, Rickenbacker or Les Paul. After playing for what seemed like an eternity on dinged-up secondhanders, I finally got my first Fender Stratocaster. The guitar looked and felt like a masterpiece. That's the thing about a classic guitar, the work of art is the piece you play...and the piece itself.

It's no wonder one look at its voluptuous outline brought me right back to the glory days of rock-and-roll. The unique shape immediately brings to mind those round-bottomed bodies of vintage electric guitars.

The eye-catching, ivory face features blue Roman numerals on the left of the dial and bold Arabic numbers on the right. Blued, Breguet-style hands keep time while additional complications mark the day, date and month. A date window sits at the 3 o'clock position. Inside, the 27-sapphire-jewel movement utilizes an automatic self-winding mechanism that never needs batteries. The Stauer Guitar Watch secures with a genuine black leather band and is water-resistant to 3 ATMs.

How cool is that?

I'm going to treat myself with some artificial snakeskin loafers and a Volcom visor cap.

The outfit is to be built around my rainbow-lensed Oakleys.

Call it superficial, but I can fairly easily imagine Tinder dates ghosting you for that alone.

Sorry, I meant to refer to people you've encountered in person because Tinder isn't good like the nineties.

I honestly don't even know what Tinder is. I'm assuming it's a dating site, but I have no idea how it works or anything.

Is it really that bad of a watch? Or are you guys just busting my balls?

I thought it was super cool. There was a full-page add for it in Guitar World magazine and apparently it's manufactured by a really renown company. I think it looks trippy. I haven't seen anything like it.

Without providing any context, I opened the picture in another window and turned the laptop to my girlfriend for a review.

It went like this:
"It's...uh...pretty gross. It just looks like somebody that likes guitars and likes watches came up with it, but has no design expertise whatsoever...like you threw a guitar and a watch in a blender and that's what came out. Don't tell me you like that shit."

I bought my watch in walmart for $10. All my clothes are from Walmart, besides my OM Sunn and Boris shirts.

Baphomet reigns!

I bought a $5 bottle of wine and 28 pirogis for $2. Two red bell peppers and a Whallah Whallah sweet onion for a total of $10. God bless Grocery Outlet.
