Jumb Dumb is like 17 pounds. He's huge. and squishy. But he's not like fat. He's just a big cat.

its frustrating that i just gave another dose of anti flea stuff to my cats (had an awful infestation and ive been doing it for three months now) and NOW after not getting bitten for weeks, i get bitten again. they're leaving the ships so to speak i'm sure. My arms and legs were an embarrassing mess before i started some months back. And they kept biting me even as the treatment was ongoing cause it takes a while to kill them all. It's pretty horrible. You can still see the marks on my arms (well cause then i turned to scabs and then i kinda picked at them cause i have this problem with scabs...)

Even worse, they never bit my gf once. But id wake up with like 8 fresh bites a day no mater how much clothes i had on (at some point i wore gloves and thick socks to bed, not kidding) So..never let a flea infestation get out of hand (i only did cause i couldn't afford the medecine)

last week there was a cat stuck on my roof. it must've climbed the tree that's next to it.
i took it off the roof and put it outside of the front door.
i tried letting it get into the garden where it came from, where the tree was, but that didn't seem to be working. it didn't want to. other escapes from the street with the scary traffic didn't appeal to it either.
it was still quite small. maybe it was looking for its mother?
it scratched my neck. little bastard.

Took a bunch of pics yesterday. I shall post three series of cats pics. This is Dexy. Later i'll do Jumby and later still both together.

A perfect kitty circle:

Dex likes mirrors, "looks, there is cat in mirror! we has to free it!". Actually shes a clever cat and she's know it's her. she's more admiring herself. The best is when she clmb on the sink to do it in the cabinet mirror.

She's actually closing the door here more than staring at herself, why is she closing the door? (sorry about the hairy legs, and yes there is a butter knife on the floor, i need it to turn off the hot water faucet....)

Because she hears someone she doesn't like very much

"HEY GUYS WHATSUP!?" I mean she likes him and will clean him and stuff when he goes lie against her but most of the time if he's not sleeping, she's just tolerating him.

This is what she does when she wants attention. Comes to me, starts purring and touches me with her paw until i pet her. Sometimes she licks my hands too. Well...if she wants petties. If she wants to play she'll either paw at a drawer and meow (toys end up under the dresser a lot and so if i open the lower drawers she can get to them) or bring a toy on the bed, stare at me and bitch and bitch until i make it move (seriously some days she can torment me endlessly this way). She loves balls of paper especially. She fetches. If you throw, she bring it back.

As anyone who ever owned a cat and has a guitar case knows, if you open it, they will come.

i've been thinking for a while i should show pics of my cat that died like 2 years ago. I feel ready to look at pics now. Why show her? Because you'll all die. So perfectly cute she looked engineered in a lab for maximum cuteness.

yeah. two drops a day. one heavy duty artificial tears, and one that encourages natural tear production. but her eyes are usually opened almost to the level of a normal cat's. they aren't in those photos because the flash made her close them. i'm going to try to get some pics during the day today.

i also have to clean her butt because she doesn't do it for some reason. baby wipes!

We had 4 cats for a long time. Opal, Pearl, Shredder, and Max. Max died this past summer. We adopted an older kitty named Marrianne in October. Then Opal died in November. Marrianne died of liver failure this month. So now we have Shredder and Pearl, who are both over 10 but in good health. Unfortunately with cats it seems that they can go downhill quite quickly despite being just fine most of their lives.

YEah. after ten it's a bit of a crapshoot. A few years ago my gf had four cats. Then 3 reached around 15 and they just within like a year and a half just all went. Mine that died two years back was 16 and then she started getting heart trouble. Two days later she was gone. Well i had to put her down...
