Default The aeroplane flies higher?

A retailer who has been selling records 20 years told me today that back in the day when he ordered and sold The Aeroplane Flies High boxes they also sold a different kind of single-box from Pumpkins called The Aeroplane Flies Higher. Then his partner came in to the shop and recalled the same thing. They said it was a bit different; no handle and colored differently.

Then I claimed that there is no such thing and they started also hesitating. But how can two different people recall the same thing if it's not true?

Um it is true though. its a boxset with some SD singles or Gish EPs or something. its not an official release though, it was put out by some label completely unassociated with the pumpkins. actually i'm not sure about that but such a thing exists

Oh, so the boxset is a bootleg. Are the singles inside this box official releases?

"the areoplane flies lower and hit a pentagon" was very official, but it wasn't a bootleg I guess

It's in the database of my local cd-store too, but I didn't trust it back then. Although I won't need this.

well, 59,99$ which is about 50€ is not that much for having 6 original cd-singles from that era (here where I live). People here are paying 10 to 20€ of those singles...

The box..you can always throw it away

You think I'm faking it?

I'm not claiming that I own this box, but I have no reason to believe it's fake.
