Default The best pop songs from SMASH-HIT pop artists non-smash hit albums

I hope I articulated the topic well enough. Basically this is a thread to post songs you like from a huge pop-star ONLY if it was from "not such a huge hit record". This typically comes from an album or 2 after a groups star has already fallen.

So with further ado, let me get this party started!

It's hard to exactly call this album a flop by any means as it's lead single was Beautiful Life which was a pretty big hit, but the album was clearly a massive down-grade in success from "The Sign". And as father-time often does: the album has become something of a none-story in Ace of Bass lure.

Lucky Love was the 2nd single (which didn't really do much) and goddamn is it ever a catchy uplifting song. I forgot it existed and it recently came on my work loud-speaker and godamn if it didn't hit the sweet spot

Similar to Ace of Bass: Aquas 2nd album still charted pretty good, but it grossly paled in success to the debut and none of these songs stood the test of time, YET this songs still a grade A pop jam. Turn it up and rip that knob right off the ghetto blaster (assuming that you're going to frantically rush to Ebay and buy the cheapest available cassette in order to blast as loud as you can at the soonest time possible)

Fuzzy's Didja Know!?: That the 2 dudes from Ace of Bass are actually out touring under the name with 2 completely different female singers? How fucked is that?! Yeah yeah yeah I get that they wrote the material or whatever but who cares? it was the 2 singers who everyone associates as the group.

Wheres Brett Bucahnnon?

The click-bait potential of my natural musings is undeniable. This genius should not go unrecognized.

But in all seriousness, those 2 songs are pop-music ecstasy.

Men are the backbone of the music industry. Women are just used as an image to get fans and sell records.

The secret to the music industry is to make music for women. They will buy the records and drag their boyfriends to the concerts.

This is why people cite Black as Pearl Jam's best song.

It's not even that specific. It's just good songs from pop-stars not so successful albums.
