Just more incentive for the fans to go out and check out the tour. It might be the last chance to see JC playing all the songs we love for awhile.

Even just imagining what JC might play to tracks like One and All and Tiberius gives me a raging hard-on.

In the Periscope clip Billy said that he can't wait to hear what the Monuments songs sound like with Jimmy.

This. Jimmy's drumming won't make horribly written songs any better.

I still think Bill is a phenomenal rock songwriter. I think Jimmy's style pushes him a little bit so it has been lacking in comparison to old stuff lately, but still pretty strong. That being said, it would be pretty awesome to see Jimmy do an album with QOTSA or somebody a little more prog.

Well hot damn. I was going anyway because a) it's at Red Rocks and b) I still appreciate Billy's guitar and rock sensibilities in the live setting, but Jimbo on the drums is worth the price of admission alone. I was like WTF? when he announced yet another line-up ahead of a tour so close to the last one. I'm sure the One Direction/Daughtry guy was no slouch as a session drummer (maybe?), but yet another drummer butchering the SP legacy was too much. Thank god Jimmy is back - for now. Please record on the new album!

On another note, I know the band is a revolving door right now, but the drum parts are sacred. How would Rush be if they had a new drummer every year? The drums are on that level and there needs to be a permanent bad ass behind the kit to be taken seriously as SP.

It seems that there was no problem with Robin Diaz:

JC could make D4N better in his sleep. Just record some of his live drums and redo the guitars and stuff over that.

Yes but a couple of the best riffs are stolen from the MCIS era, so it'll be pretty good

I think the only way is using some screen capture program when viewing the archived ones online in a browser

Yes and Yes. It will just be a fun musical experience to see Jimmy's interpretation of a few Monuments and Oceania songs. They would just be better. Even though it's Billy's vision, Jimmy really is his other half. He needs the push-pull to take his songs to the next level.

Manson's most recent tour was fantastic and the pale emperor is his best since mechanical animals and is just really, really good.

Yeah that would be great, and it would be easy to get excited, if only Zeitgeist never happened.

If getting a damn visa wasn't such a long obnoxious process in brazil, I could've gone to Miami to watch them live (stretching my finances a bit thin... but whatevs)

They did this and called it machina, and everyone hated it.

Everyone hated it? Machina went gold and gave them two hit songs.
