took these recently, nothing special...i was really happy with how the angles and details n stuff turned out on some of these:

on a building downtown

a small slice of downtown viewed from the same street the previous picture was taken on

an abandoned bridge viewed from a small out-of-the-way spot

nothing special

homeless guy set up shop, tucked away underneath a small bridgeway...this was a few feet away from the previous picture. after i was done snapping some shots of the area, he happened to come out, on his way somewhere. he asked me for change but i didn't have any, but he was nice.

taken from a small bridge near my townhouse; go left a few feet and you run upon the KC FBI headquarters

Of course they can. The only real way to keep people from hotlinking your pictures in other places is to not post them at all.

I use a polarizing filter - it helps cut through a lot of the light pollution, and gives you more to play with when it comes to cloud textures etc. I shoot in RAW mainly, so these are just me messing around with the low res jpegs using a wee bit of HDR just to bring out the detail. I'm pretty shit when it comes to post processing tbh. I should probably learn...

You can see the polarizer at work in this shot pretty clearly I think

probably the best filter I've bought.

Yeah, I was just fucking with it. The original was blurry and I wound up way over-saturating it towards the bottom, I just sort of liked the grainy effect I got.
