be one final goodbye reunion large world tour and then he will dissolve the Smashing Pumpkins once and for all and move forward with his new band with Jeff and solo projects. I can't see them recording new music together or the smashing pumpkins continuing after that. It will be the end. A goodbye tour.

really excited to see how this pans out. i really can't think of any other reason why billy would form another band on the side with jeff if it weren't out of a semi-sense of guilt that he's bringing james back and kicking poor jeff out. we already know bill and james are on good terms and are down to play music together, but i'm going to be really surprised if they manage to get d'arcy in on it, too. i'd shit my pants if the original 4 go on tour and then record a brand new album.

Yeah, he has saturated the touring market for nearly 10 years dragging the SP brand through the mud with his crappy lineups, (and apologies for bringing up GnR again) but Axl did the same thing for even longer and his reunion tours wildly successful.

The thing is most people couldn't have gave 2 shits or even noticed what Corgans been up to so a full fledged reunion would be a really exciting thing for a lot of people.

poor soul to stumble across netphoria. most of us grew up with corgan as our rawk role model and have been let down by his seeming personality changes or whatever. it's become apparent that he no longer has and perhaps never did have whatever it was we all saw in him. integrity/sensitivity/wisdom/something

regardless of why, i guess, we've mostly all become disenchanted by the man. i'd encourage you to ignore all of us so you can prolong that enchantment as long as possible. because we will kill it, fast, and it's really nice while it lasts.

i'm assuming you're fairly young. if you're not you can disregard this as i'm sure you already realize billy corgan is just as fucked as everyone else
