I really enjoyed picking up some of the best 2000 and 2003 bootlegs when they were actually sold at best buy and stuff...but they've gotten way out of control for me.

You Pearl Jam people, do you happen to know the names of places in Hawaii that appear in Oceans video? I would like to know the waterfall (?) place where the guy disappears diving between stones.
thanks |

Also, did you guys hear Better Days? I think it's an Eddie track but it might be full band. |

I think they've kinda lost their creativity since riot act. last two albums have some good fast rockers but nothing very musically interesting.

i wouldn't say they lost their creativity as much as i'd say they purposely made "accessible" music.

The Universal/Island stuff was only recently added, finally giving it some credibility. 10c is being mum. Most are guessing a live album of the Backspacer tour. |

Anybody else catch them at Bridge School this past weekend? Two great sets - Eddie sounded flawless on night one, was one of the best vocal performances of his I've ever heard.
Or maybe it was just that I wasn't distracted by Mike, since he was kinda low in the mix? :P |

What Records update: I should have pre-ordered, but I didn't know what my address would be at the time.
Just to confirm what a few fans are already aware of is that the Pearl Jam box has gone back. Island hope to get it out before Christmas but I've been told early January. We should have it back on the site in December. I have also been advised of a higher dealer price but we will honour all orders at the price we advertised it at. We will not be charging the higher price. |

for any of you who have a sirius / xm radio, there's now a pearl jam dedicated station. it's not hosted by anyone, just a bunch of album cuts, standalone soundboard performances, and full shows 24/7. pretty coll.

My brother shared this one with me the other day... it's unreal. Typically, NAIS isn't my favorite Pearl Jam song, but this version is spot on.

Just put down the $10 for this mystery 7" single operation - sounds like a fun little gamble to me.
Anybody else go for it? |

Yup.
I only have the Xasm and GTF singles, so I thought it was worth a try. My luck with these mystery sales (posters, usually) has been pretty shitty, so I won't be surprised if I get one of those (a 55% chance), but I'd certainly feel I'd gotten my money's worth if I snagged one of the others. YEAR TITLE (QTY IN SALE) 1991 LET ME SLEEP (1) 1994 ANGEL/RAMBLINGS (less than 800) 1995 MERKIN BALL (less than 550) 1996 OFF HE GOES (less than 125) 1996 OLYMPIC PLATINUM (less than 125) 1997 GIVEN TO FLY (less than 125) 2009 FIXER- BLUE (1) 2009 FIXER- ORANGE (less than 10) 2009 UNTHOUGHT KNOWN LIVE FROM AUCKLAND NZ (less than 200) |

I got the 1994 Christmas single. While it's lame b/c it's the most common, it's not a totally bum deal, seeing as I don't have it.

they said it'd be somewhere in "the middle of the country". most people took that to mean chicago (or alpine valley a couple hours north in wisconsin), but they gave no indication other than that quote.
