That’s where the album title came from.

Sad reax only.
I see that this is confirmed in the very first paragragh of the wikipedia article for the album, but I think rock stars tend to just pick titles that sound cool, and justify them after the fact. Their stories about where a name came from will often change between interviews. They play it off like they're 'trolling the press', but in truth they're just full of shit.

Netflix just launched a new series today called "The Innocent Man" and the opening theme is Zwan's Number of the Beast.... atleast I'm assuming it's Zwan's unless Sweeney recorded a new version that sounds exactly like it.

Declarations of Faith is still my fav on MSOTS.. Settle Down guitar solo is fantastic. I am also in what seems like the small group of people that sees Zwan's work up there with SP 1..

The Machina reissue thread is broken.

Edit: It's working again.

I had just tricked it out by doing the quote option, erasing the quote itself, to get a text field for writing.

"Even the opening titles, with their imagery of rural America set to the tune of Zwan’s emo-style cover of 'Number of the Beast,' is so evocative of this subgenre it comes across as comical."

He should recruit 13 fans to go through the archives and sort them out. Just a thought...

I just can't imagine who would go to a Zwan show if they won't even tour with SP7 in smaller clubs. Zwan would not fill a medium sized indoor stadium or headline a festival

This reunion deserves to ******* Linda Strawberry, former member of the Djali Zwan, showing her new abilities as a bassplayer to this band.

As much as I'd love to see a True Poets reunion, I'm sure this will be an acoustic set tagged onto a Plainsong-style show.

Ideally: True Poets show at the Glass House in Pomona.
