I've only noticed the word "hipster" been used starting around 2008 or 2009, but if Kid A is your favourite Radiohead album then you're probably a hipster.

People in my normal life call me a hipster. Because I like Rock but I don't for the most part like classic rock. And when I do talk about classic rock my opinions are always the unpopular ones.
But it's really just that I prefer pop, weirdness, and brains over cock rock Bluesy stuff. But I totally embrace the hipster thing and think the whole anti-fashion thing is cool. |

Everything.
That's I mean when I say a handful of good to decent bands don't make up for the vast amount of shit Canada has been putting out for YEARS. It just doesn't. Even the best of Canada can't usually compete with the best of the UK or the US. |

econoline crush played a festival which was my first concert going experience.
edgefest 1998 - ottawa, ontario Econonline Crush Foo Fighters Green Day Moist Sloan The Tea Party Creed Matthew Good Band The Inbreds The Killjoys Sandbox The Watchmen Holly McNarland Bif Naked billy joe armstrong stripped down to a thong, causing me to question my sexuality. luckily, after green day played i touched my first boob...a lady was body surfing face down and its all i could grab to keep her up. that got things sorted out in a hurry. hooked on concerts and boobs ever since.

i was fourteen! not that that matters. but it wasn't rape-y, i swear. a body pretty much landed on my head from behind and i put my hands up to lift it up and one of them touched boob. if i took the time to make sure i didn't touch boob, she very well could have fell on her head and died.
what the fuck is a #triggerwarning? |

although, my benign intentions are moot. if you saw what she was wearing you'd know she was clearly asking for it.

i really shouldn't be joking about this. to be clear, i don't condone the accidental unsolicited touching of body parts under any circumstances ever.

Crowdsurfing seems pretty cool and fun until it actuall happens. Then it's just like... god damn it, set the fuck off of me, get your limbs out of my face and let me enjoy this concert in peace, you self-important bone head.
But when it's not happening I kind of wish that someone would do a stage dive or something. |
