Bands that you would hypothetically like to see tour with SP

I know Corgan always ranted in the past about there being no possibility of doing a nostalgic tour, but now that he's on tour with Manson, let's pretend that that's out the window now.

What bands that are still active new and old would you like seeing on a tour with the Pumpkins?


I personally think Gin Blossoms would make a great touring partner. They're a really good band from the same era, and a set of their music would fit nicely along side an SP set.

I don't think they're up to jack shit lately as they were doing some Mark Mcgrath cruise awhile back, so Corgan could likely even just get these guys on as the opening band of the night for a short set and I think a lot of SP fans would enjoy it.

This would be cool. I'm kinda surprised they didn't get them on board for the MM/SP tour.

I guess it probably would have something to do with the ego of who would have to go on stage first.

I saw Courtney love a couple years ago and she sounds a lot better than both Corgan and Manson now.

But think of something like a: Gin Blossoms/Hole/Marilyn Manson/Smashing Pumpkins summer tour.

That would be epic and could probably fill 15 000 seat arenas. Those bands don't do much on their own, but together I think it would be a legitimate event that music fans would turn out to see.
