The strings swell, the lead actors face gets all weird, he starts spit-speaking to the love interest and I just can't stop giggling. It's so telegraphed and obvious.

The fake-out jump scares annoy me more.
If you're gonna go out of your way to scare me by using the loud noise cheap tactic at least pay it off with something actually scary instead of "oh no, it was just a cat!"

Yea those are totally obnoxious. You can almost count how like, in modern thriller movies, the first lead-in to a jump scare will not be anything.

Hate movies that rely on jump scares to build an illusion of tension. So cheap and lazy.

Love movies that don't need tom hanks crying or cats jumping out of dark corners or CGI goof-ballery. Just good honest story-telling.

AFAIK, you can only buy them directly from his website. They are pretty hard to find on pirate sites.
