Smashing Pumpkins singer Billy Corgan has confirmed the band will get back together.

The singer told Mancow Muller; “I just talked to (Pumpkins guitarist James Iha) the other day- things look good for us to play”.

The Smashing Pumpkins were a key part of the 90s music scene, shaping the sound of music as we know it today.

Although the band lives through Corgan, the original line up haven’t been together for over 14 years.

Billy Corgan is currently on tour across America, playing surprise gigs in unconventional venues, writing and recording for both The Smashing Pumpkins and new projects.

I will grant you that the first and third offerings were suprisingly pathetic. but the second one, ah yes, that hobbit has the golden touch!
