will we ever see zwan and TFE songs played live again?

I always think we may see TheFuturEmbrace at some point or another, but as far as Zwan is concerned, I think the occasional leak of unreleased material is about as much as we'll get.

I wouldn't rule anything out except for maybe any Zwan stuff that was co-written. Anything that Billy has sole writing credit for I would think is fair game to be dusted off one day. I doubt Billy holds Zwan nearly as sacred as he does SP, so I don't think there'd be any kind of "I want my songs back" stuff going on if he ever wanted to revisit a song or two from that era.

Didn't Billy play Of A Broken heart at a poetry reading a while back?

I don't see why any of his previous work is off limits. Not that I liked Zwan much. Some rearranged TFE songs could be cool, though, like A100. Imagine Lisa and Ginger doing backup vocals for it.

The only roadblock I see, though, is Billy not wanting to play anything from the past that isn't relevent to things in his present. That's why he's playing Hummer, but not XYU. Maybe Zwan is filled with stuff that he doesn't relate to anymore.

well he played a little bit of zwan during his TFE tour. There was a pretty nice video circulating of him playing "of a broken heart" from that secret acoustic show he did in.. sydney i think it was?

He also played songs like Friends as Lovers and Riverview during the TFE tour, so I wouldn't be surprised if he played them again

Unfortunately it seems unorthodox for billy to bring Zwan/TFE back to the setlist- I'm not sure if its because he doesn't enjoy the songs anymore, or he feels like he could get criticized for Zwan really being SP2 etc...if he did bring them back now.
but I think he will breakdown eventually and at least play a couple every now(and then)

Yeah, he closed with OABH acoustic at the Sydney secret show. And it was amazing.
