Arrow attention music fans

the music you listen too is either too indie or not indie enough. maybe you shouldn't listen to any music anymore. it isn't hip. my subjective opinion says so.

Get over it. Accept the fact that people take enjoyment out of passing themselves off as rock music encyclopedias when in reality half the time they post they just got done looking at pitchfork, amg, or whatever. Who cares that nobody on this board takes the time to form their own opinion (or an opinion beyond "this sucks"). Does it really matter that a persons experience of an obscure band is done by sitting at their computer downloading MP3's? Maybe it is a little dorky to spend your time doing those things and acting that way, but all that bullshit still sparks my interest in discovering new music. And lets be honest, having good taste is a competitive thing. If you don't want to deal with that, find some boring friends who don't challenge you. Having rock music arguments is some of the best times I have had.
