I don't need the links for dumb one-off side projects to be permanent. Think of it like a radio broadcast.

Those sound great. Are you recording to a DAW? How are you recording or editing? Programs/software/hardware?

I just got a digital 8-track and am thinking maybe I should have just went out for a stereo digital interface. I hate recording on the computer though, and like those chance elements.

thanks! i use ableton on a mac using a focusrite 2i2. i used to use cubase which i found a bit more intuitive for recording, but doing the drums on ableton is relatively easy

cork, i think that's my favorite track of yours so far.

i just really enjoyed that one. it sounds like being suspended it mid air with particles of debris flowing around you. also, keeping in mind what you said about aspiring to let the sound evolve on its own terms, and making it seem like there was no 'work' behind it so to speak, i enjoyed how it quiets down around midway through, and you can hear like, explosions in the distance. it sounds like the cover of kid a. really interesting and beautiful textures.

thanks teh b0lly! your "visual" interpretations change the way i hear the piece. my own interpretations tend to be one-dimensional and uninteresting (rocket engine! crickets! etc.) and i generally can't unhear those associations.

thanks for listening,

playing around with stock video footage prior to forthcoming attempts to gather my own (the track is mine)

mostly just a mood experiment; i will likely soon be embarrassed to have posted this

also it might bore you to tears

I put up a couple tracks today. They aren't new compositions or recordings, but I haven't seriously recorded anything in a while, and felt I needed to get something new uploaded. So, I just took some older acoustic stuff, worked in some effects, and did some typical editing.

i like that slunk.
lately i've been liking a lot of drone music and this goes right up my alley.
the phased guitar is kinda boxy and rigidly played, but i really like your restraint with the swelling lead guitar, that almost sounds like a cello sometimes. i like that you never quite pick up and keep playing about one note per bar or two. it's a hard thing to do as a player (at least for me) but it works well. also, love the random field recordings in there. gives it a cinematic feel. good mood piece.
