I wouldn't get into Pretty Hate Machine so early, as it's not their best material (except when it's live). I'd would say to go with either The Fragile or The Downward Spiral first.

To the two people who queried, I did not enjoy With Teeth, nor do I think it's a good reflection of what the guy is capable of (or at least what I'd like to think he's capable of).

And if you're going to listen to NIN for the first time, listen to The Downward Spiral.

Agreed. I was disappointed with the bulk of With Teeth. However, both leaked tracks off this album are fucking sweet.

I guess we had to expect to give Trent one mulligan coming off years of substance abuse.
