i've found it on demonoid, it's apparently on some other torrent sites as well.
i don't really know what to think of it. the way he sings in the first track turns me off. it seems they lost all that energy in order to make a more or less regular prog rock album. |

Don't listen to it. 128kbs is shit, and an album like this deserves to be heard in the highest quality possible.
Just go to cracktheskye.com. Listen to the snippets, read the lyrics. Listen to instrumental Oblivion, and watch the videos, enjoy the art. There is a lot of stuff on there; I'm more excited for this album then for any album ever. THIS IS WHAT A REAL BAND DOES. NOT FUCKING RELEASE MUSIC IN JAP CAR COMMERCIALS. Billy's fucking idea that nobody is interested in full albums anymore is so fucking out of touch with both reality, and with the essence of being a musical ARTIST in the first place. Thank you Mastodon, for taking the vacant "favorite band" spot in my heart that the Pumpkins sold a few years ago. |

i'm sure the music will be suddenly very good when in a higher bitrate.

Why is every response on Netphoria either totally condescending and negative, or completely off-topic? These forums suck; I'm staying on the Mastodon ones from now on - both of these two bands' forum quality is directly proportional to their music.
Later, dicks.

on my fifth listen, and i gotta say... this isn't really all that great.
Oblivion and The Czar have some pretty sweet moments going on, but most of it is senseless mush, the production is too clean (where did all the grunt in Troy's voice go?) and what in the fuck is up with Quintessence? did they deliberately write the worst song ever? I'm majorly majorly dissapointed with this so far. Even if it's not a BAD record per se, it' s still way under the spectacular quality the 'don have upheld so far. oh and i've been on those Mastodon forums and it's full of douchey metalheads. |

i found it on torrentreactor but it looks like that torrent has been pulled now too. I'll try and upload it for you (it's pretty small at 128kbps) but my wireless drops in and out so i cant make any guarantees?

I don't know if I like it from what I've heard so far. But it's nice to see some bands still going to the effort of making interesting album art to go with the music (even if it's kind of a ploy to get you to buy the record). I'm fickle like that.

it's also the ugliest album cover they've done so far, in addition to their worst record
