I only ever smoke weed socially and never alone, but I think I really need it tonight. I've never smoked in my mum's house, though.

I've just felt a lot of pent up anxiety and frustration over the past few days. Too afraid to let myself be vulnerable with friends and divulge any of my insecurities for fear of judgement, and I've found that just venting on the internet like on here or on Reddit doesn't actually really do much to help, either. It's just that bottled, futile, impotent venom that I have swirling inside of me, that I can't do anything about. Hobbies don't help, because I can't focus on that shit when I'm upset. If I try, I just start to transfer my emotions to whatever activity in engaged in, and become frustrated and resentful with what I'm trying to do.

Despite all my rage I am still just a rat in a cage.

oh yeah i forgot about rollers. i used to have one. those are great. i never learned to hand roll.

I wanna learn to roll a joint. Of all the methods for smoking weed, I've come round to joints the most. They're surprisingly smooth, they suit social situations better for passing around, and it feels nice to just "nurse" them over time rather than huffing a whole bowl at once. I find them more satisfying as well.

Pipes are definitely my favourite for convenience and preparation, though. Maybe once I learn to roll a joint, I'll find more satisfaction in that, though.

When I'm 51, my elder son will be 26...which is older than I was, when I had him. That's kind of disturbing

I could potentially be a grandmother by then...a grandmother who rolls great joints.

I don't think I'll be at any stoner metal/shoegaze shows though. Maybe Sunday evening jazz, or any other music event where I can sit down because you know. standing up is no joke now that I'm old
