What?
I pointed out that you can't prove non-existence of something in that thread using unicorns as an example because clearly I really don't think they exist |

Eagles frontman Don Henley sues Duluth Trading Co.
By Bridget Shanahan. CREATED 1:20 PM Eagles frontman Don Henley is suing a Wisconsin company -- because of what he's calling a copyright violation in one of the store's ads. The ad in question, put out by Duluth Trading Company, reads, "Don A Henley, And Take It Easy." It's promoting their Henley T-shirts, which are also pictured in the ads. "Take It Easy," is a popular Eagles song. Henley's lawyers said the ad was trademark infringement and wrongly implies Henley endorsed the product. A statement from an Eagles' spokesman said band members take offense when someone "tries to piggyback and capitalize" on their work. "We are aware of the claims made by Mr. Henley. Our policy is to not comment on the specifics regarding matters of litigation," said a Duluth Trading Company spokesperson in a statement. Duluth Trading is headquartered in Belleville and sells primarily online and through catalogs. It has six stores in Wisconsin and Minnesota. |
