i am making another junior seau thread because he was good at feetball
i'm not sure how much that is worth to some of you but he was not a douche magoo

on a slightly less banal note...
one american football player i was actually aware of because of his Samoan heritage. lots of Samoans in Auckland, and at the school i went to, and this guy was a bit of a hero to them (outside of the dudes who played rugby for nz of course) read a pretty amazing article in the Guardian about the long term effects of multiple concussions on athletes involved in contact sports. american football being the focus of the story and the most studied. amazing the amount of damage these guys sustain, despite the protective equipment, and what that damage does to their mental health later in life. apologies if already discussed... |
