Minor policy review, no biggie...

Trump administration orders social media blackout at EPA, USDA
POSTED 12:35 PM, JANUARY 24, 2017

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump banned employees of the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Agriculture on Tuesday from providing social media updates and talking with reporters, The Associated Press reported.

Emails that have been sent to EPA staff since Trump was inaugurated on Friday give specific prohibitions that ban news releases, blog updates and posts on the agency’s social media accounts.

There has also been a “temporary suspension” of new business activities at the EPA. That includes issuing task orders or work assignments to EPA contractors, the AP reported.

BuzzFeed reported the USDA instituted a similar ban, with employees not allowed to distribute information about research papers or to post on Twitter under the agency’s name.

A memo at the USDA’s Agricultural Research Service said said the agency would immediately cease releasing any “public-facing” documents.

“This includes, but is not limited to, news releases, photos, fact sheets, news feeds, and social media content,” according to the memo.

The Huffington Post said employees under the Department of Health and Human Services were also told not to speak to public officials.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer said it was natural for a new administration to reconsider agency operations.

“I don’t think it’s anything surprise that when there’s an administration turnover, that we’re going to review the policy,” Spicer said.

So you're speculating that Trump may be some kind of trojan horse, which is completely fair. At this time I think he's largely a rogue entity in D.C., something of a modern day Andrew Jackson.

But the Rino Neo-Cons that surround him, those are the ones you have to watch out for as they will try to manipulate him in some manner towards the globalist ideals which are currently losing grip (Brexit, Trump and other populist/nationalist risings in western europe).

But if you want to get closer to what's really going on, you need to remove the ideological blinders and understand he's currently making an end run around the Democratic party by appealing to the Unions and expanding his constituency.

Trump Wins The Unions: Teamsters Praise TPP Withdrawal, Labor Chiefs Describe "Incredible" Meeting With Trump

If he locks this voting bloc down and diffuses the Dem party as a strictly bi-coastal entity, then the donkey's will be done for for a good long while. DNC is a rudderless ship right now and if all there is are pissed off lesbians and old whores like Madonna spouting off on the mic trying to lead some anti-Trump cause while he's pouring in jobs at record numbers, the Dem's will be in even bigger trouble than they are now.

The polls have been proven to be scientifically rigged against Trump from day 1 and stuck on stupid-boy still cites them. That's not a slow learning curve, it's a non-existent one.

If he's a schizoid liar then why are you responding to him? You accuse him of living in a bubble but this entire forum is a bubble where common sense and self awareness is thrown out the window.

Oh I get it now. Billy Corgan lives in a bubble so Billy Corgans fans and followers live in a bubble. To really understand netphoria all you have to do is understand Corgan.

Time to start silencing any opposition in the press.

Six Journalists Covering Inauguration Protests Face ‘Felony Riot’ Charges

At least six journalists were among more than 200 people arrested during anti-Trump demonstrations on Friday, The Guardian reports. Most of those people face felony rioting charges, according to CBS. As of Tuesday evening, journalists facing felony charges included Evan Engel of Vocativ, Alexander Rubinstein of RT America, documentary producer Jack Keller, freelancer Aaron Cantu and independent journalists Shay Horse and Matt Hopard.

If convicted, they could be sentenced to 10 years in prison or $25,000 fines.

Though many protesters at the event were peaceful, some damaged property and threw objects. At least six officers suffered minor injuries.

However, none of the arrest reports for the journalists ******* any allegations of individual wrongdoing, according to The Guardian. Instead, the documents simply refer to large numbers of people being arrested for destroying property or violating rioting laws.

Similarly, probable cause documents for Engel and Rubinstein obtained by The Huffington Post describe a large group vandalizing property and starting fires, with some people throwing objects at officers. Both documents are identical, and each state that the defendant was “arrested as part of this group.”

Rubinstein tweeted numerous photos and videos from the protests Friday. After the arrest, he tweeted that cops threw a flash grenade that temporarily left him unable to see. “Cops encircled crowd when I couldn’t see; arresting everyone,” he wrote.

“The arrest, detainment and rioting charge against journalist Evan Engel who was covering the protests for Vocativ are an affront to the First Amendment and journalistic freedom,” a Vocativ spokesperson said in a statement sent to HuffPost. “Vocativ will vigorously contest this unfounded and outrageous charge.”

Keller, Hopard, Cantu and Horse all told The Guardian they were innocent of any criminal wrongdoing.

The nonprofit Committee to Protect Journalists condemned rioting charges against “at least three” of the journalists in a Tuesday release. The release referred to the arrests of Engel, Rubinstein and Cantu, though the organization noted they were still reviewing the other arrest reports.

“These charges are clearly inappropriate, and we are concerned that they could send a chilling message to journalists covering future protests,” CPJ’s Carlos Lauría said in the statement. “We call on authorities in Washington to drop these charges immediately.”

Should Trump 'send in the Feds!' to Chicago?

"If Chicago doesn't fix the horrible 'carnage' going on, 228 shootings in 2017 with 42 killings (up 24% from 2016), I will send in the Feds!"

— Donald Trump, Jan. 24, 2017.

Trump can't send the "the feds." Who would he send? What Feds? There's nothing he can do. This is political theater.

Amen!

Obama the first "black-president" decided to ignore the carnage going on in the urban communities and his home town nonetheless. God-bless Trump for sticking to his campaign promises for actually planning to do something about it.

The United States can't bring a pair of boxing-mitts to a gun-fight.

If they wanna prosper globally then drilling for oil is one thing they'll currently have to do.

Trump being president has made it easier for people to troll. It's created a voice and an audience for people like fuzzy. Because after all Trump is the biggest troll of them all as acting president.

I like your hippie, happy go lucky attitude and personally feel the same way... But unfortunately you'll realize as you grow older that that just isn't the way the world operates.

It's a stone-cold place.

"Trolls" just a word the leftists created to de-legitimize anything someone else might say that they disagree with.
