i filled my mom's car with freon yesterday too, what what i'm on a roll

can't believe places charge $100 for this. it costs $10 and takes 10 minutes. you don't even get dirty or anything

I wanted to say this. This is how it works. It's how most (not all) medications work. They're not painkillers.

Nah man. If you don't feel you need it, don't start taking it regularly. It's a bad habit to start unless you absolutely need it.

I take "Jameson Omega 3 Calm" along with L-Theanine 2 or 3 times a day and studies have shown that each acts as a more organic Anti-depressant.

It definitely works for me, Over a long period I've noticed a big change and the studies are positive. Some argue that it may be a placebo effect, but I don't think so. Even a little added boost to ones mental stability can be substantial when you're motivated to feel better. Exercise and exercising the mind are priceless too. Read an actual book an hour a day. It'll improve your focus which in the long run will help with anxiety.

I'd stay away from the big-pharma prescriptions as long as you can unless it really is a necessity for you to live.

Oh, this also might be common sense to most, but only hydrate yourself with water. Stay away from juices and soft-drinks at all cost. Also make sure to take Vitamin C and Vitamin B12 tablets daily. It'll help with your nutrition for those days that you don't abide by a well balanced diet and it's over all just a great boost for the immune system.

If you are going to take an antidepressant, take it daily (and do not feel ashamed). If not, work on developing coping skills that don't actually harm your body or others.

There are some things that can help. I am not strictly opposed to marijuana byproducts in this case, like at all. If you want to take supplements then fine. Anti depressants are not a silver bullet and neither is any other chemical. Your problems will always come back unless you are brave and face them.

Ehhh I used to take SRI's the morning after taking MDMA and it helped.

If he only takes it once in a blue moon I don't see it having a bad affect. If he does it like 3 days in a row and then stops and does it like that then it wouldn't be healthy.

It's also ineffective. I've seen what withdrawals and small changes to medication does to my sister.

if you're going to try an OTC antidepressant alternative I'd suggest 5-HTP, which is the precursor molecule (P) of serotonin (5-HT)

really the only supplement that has any good data on helping with shit is high quality fish oil, for triglycerides.

You're wrong about this one, friend. You'll get all the side effects and none of the good effects. SSRIs need time to start cascade effects in your body before you notice a difference in your mood.
