i h8 when i lose my grocery list after shopping because when making the list we basically take an inventory and say, "we have this left-over or this food item we need to use, what can we make with it and what else do we need to buy?"

sometimes we use well-known (to us) recipes or we might try something new. but on the list we separate ingredients to indicate how they will be used or write what book/magazine the recipe is in and what page. but ya know, sometimes it accidentally gets tossed after the trip.

it makes for little waste and we get to cook bad-ass foods

You hate civilization. I have my qualms and criticisms of industrial farming and super markets but I like the idea of buying vegetables at s communal market and then pooping them out later. It's easier than foraging

Make them local and organic vegetables that governments subsidize if needed instead of corn and corn byproducts and 👌🏽
