obviously it does. let's say maturity is basically on the same level, only slightly more if we are talking somebody older or slightly less in someone younger. and i have to add, this other person is smoking hot.

it depends on how old you both are

say, a 4 year gap between a 17 year old and a 13 year old is bad ,but between a 25 year old and a 21 year old? no problem!

My biggest gap was I was 22, she was 17 when we started, about to turn 18. So a good 4 years.
The gap was too much. She was a great gal though, but the differences were evident. I don’t know. I also didn’t feel too comfortable with the age gap.

She was smoking hot though, if that helps.

My last girlfriend was starting year 7 at high school when i was starting year 11. That scares me somewhat. It was only a 2 year gap between our ages, too, but somehow we were 4 school years apart... we met and I was in second year university, while she was in year 11. And even though it was only a 2 year age gap, it really WAS a 4 year gap because we were both as mature as our peer groups.

I think if a girl is over 18 / 19 / out of school it also makes a big difference.
You can step it up a few years from there, and it’ll still be okay.

Yeah. This girl was still in high school, and not yet 18 - so she had study and exams and whatever, and also couldnt come out to pubs and whatever with the rest of us... so the age gap was quite obvious.

Age gaps are probably more obvious if they're over one of those "milestone" ages - 16, 18, 21, 30, 40, 50 etc.

Although, my dad turned 89 just before he died in may, and mum is 55... so that's a fair gap there.

seriously, i was only one year older than one of my gfs but i was a freshman in college and she was a senior in high school and the difference felt so much bigger than just that year.

It's her decision. Don't force her into anything. Obviously a 13 year old is not going to want to have sex with a 24 year old. And if she does it's your responsibility to make sure she knows what she's doing before she does anything. That being said it's all just common sense with ages. I guess over 18 it's all ok and after 21 it's definitely all ok.
