Monte - "Smashing Pumpkins seem to be recentering themselves"

Late last night the Smashing Pumpkins social media changed to the traditional SP black and white logo. They then posted the Infamous Madison Square Garden poster from 1996.
Now SmashingPumpkins.com is back up no longer forwarding to SmashingPumpkinsNexsus.com, but that site is still running.
Seems like something BIG is coming soon.

I would pay money to watch videos of the first rehearsal. It would be as awkward as that Pixies documentary that came out around the time they reunited in 2004. What if he asks the reunited band to play post-2000 stuff?

I'm genuinely excited about the prospect of something positive coming out of the pumpkins camp... It does seem something 'big' is in the works. I'm feeling positive for a full reunion more each day.. It's been a long time since I was last this psyched about anything SP related. Promising times!

I wish I had taken the time to download that before it got taken down. There were some great moments in there. I remember that one (Billy had to explain to Jimmy which song was "Hello Kitty Kat" and which was "Frail and Bedazzled") and there was also a great moment where Billy uses that pissed off "I can't believe I have to remind you" tone to shout the chord progression to a song ("Crush" I think) at Jeff.
