all things change sucks. to love somebody sucks. dia sucks. now and then sucks. i'm ready sucks. walking shade sucks. sorrows sucks. pretty star sucks. strayz sucks.

it would follow that the album sucks.

dia is definitely the least sucky of the songs i listed. now and then, however, does suck. hard.

dude, you seem to have pretty bad taste. and i probably won't go any further into this.

name your top 10 or 20 bands besides the pumpkins, zwan and billy corgan's disastrous solo career.
Man.... I agreed with you that the album isn't great by any means in my very first post when I said, "I'm not a huge fan of the album"... and now you're saying I have bad taste because I questioned how you can say such a blanket statement as "it sucks". You've lost me.

As for other bands - I ain't gonna give you 20 or even 10 cos that would just be silly, but I'll give you 5:

The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Muse
Stereophonics
The Flaming Lips

Maybe not the stuff most people on here would listen to (or admit to listening to) but come on..... The FLOYD!!!

Post Good songs on TFE

Mina Loy
The Camera Eye
Now and Then
Walking Shade
Pretty Star

These five songs at least are on par with what he has released since MCIS. Come the fuck on.

The fact that it is a hell of a lot more dynamic than most other stuff still doesn't make this a good album.
It just says that most other stuff is worse than TFE.

Agreed. It still shows why we listen to Bolly though - that most other stuff is worse than TFE.

I think all our dreams of a return to SD or MCIS are never going to happen. We should just be happy that he's releasing stuff that is still good - just clearly not as good as the "good old days"... ah well... we can but dream...

Good to hear you're not bored of the old stuff then.

Unfortunately, I've overplayed all of it and find myself very rarely listening to the older stuff now. I usually "rediscover" an album every couple of month. I was really digging MCIS again last month, but now I've stopped listening to it again...

We need more!!

Smile

i suffered from a severe non-bolly phase for about half a year. but some days ago i felt like listening to tafh and all of a sudden i listened to the good old stuff all day. and i was reminded why they're still my favourite band ever.
