billy is especially good at making people despise him, regardless of whether they've been long-time friends or not.

god damn Jimmy, id glady pay to see you play pumpkins songs with a backing recording. they're equally yours, and it'd be just excellent to see the pumpkins on tour again with billz relegated to background headphones

That whole AOL sessions thing was killer. The version of HMM they played was actually quite good.

I love how he plays Rhinocerous live at Metro with goddamn mallets. I just giggle every time I watch; he's such a brilliant musician.

The intro to Quiet is catchy as hell and really fun to play.

Chamberlin has been spotted at the Reelsounds Recording Studio in Chicago alongside Jazz Fusion Bass Master Percy Jones . Apparently laying down tracks for Saxophonist and 'modal rocker' Frank Catalano's latest album. According to Catalano's Yamaha Artist's page, this is a full album project with Jimmy Chamberlin.

i know this thread is all about Jimmy.... But man, I love that Tony Iommi SG belly was rocking for a while in the 2007-2008 days.

But yeah, Jimmy is exceptional no matter what. I just can't stand "fusion".

I maintain Jimmy should TEACH! Privately or at a recognized institution. The man is a brilliant musician... he's just not much a songwriter (!!!!).

He needs a Belly Corgan or equivalent to really make his drumming shine.

So you maintain Jimmy should do what he is doing.
