shoutout to Shadaloo... YO. (but I swear I heard you say Shallowed....). unless you're both wearing silver pants & zero shirt. hawt. 107 represents!


show was good, but it's designed for adults with kids. the Loud parts are barely louder. There's nothing visceral about the show. it's like smashing pumpkins rock has been castrated from its intent and is now on par with a broadway show.... yawn.
billy's solos were good, but there wasn't enough of them. seeing how jeff need something to do, he's taking some of billys' guitar parts that make billys' playing extra detailed.
more porcelina solo.
more hummer fills.
the beginning is the end was actually a highlight.

the most embarrassing part of the show was solara... omg, just cut that out. no one cares.
Baby of mine is quite alright as a closer... like a sweet 2018 luna, so why not.

I'd go again, but not for 150$.

I score two bootleg shirts on the way out. I love those.

My mini review from an ok floor seat.
- lights were annoying sometimes flashing directly in your eye and you sqint and shit
- sound guy must have slipped and moved the trebble slider to max. The highs were so crazy it was to the point where Jimmy's cymbals sounded like white noise.
- Billys voice sounded higher pitched on some songs, was weird, might have been due to the highs.
- the "WPC!" Part of Ava Adore was cringy
- was nice to hear James speak and look like he was having fun.
- seeing Billy smile and laugh with the bandmates or when he fucked up was nice as well.

- Bonus got to see security escort out 2 super annoying guys tripping on acid for stealing the seats in front of us.

Umm i guess thats it. Not a fan of the covers.

I've got so much to say about this show but I'm too fucking tired now. It was one part cynical greatest hits, one part significant return to form, one part self-aggrandizing BC jackoff session and one part inspired performance.

There's a lot to wonder just what the fuck they were thinking, but there was a ton to genuinely appreciate. I'm very glad I went.

James introduced the band, starting with katie holmes when she wasn't on stage...
and he also introduced our WPC as "Billy". so james is getting fired pretty soon.

does james say in every town "that was stairway by the smashing pumpkins. cross that off the bucket list". he seems to be embarrassed that they play it - yet he still plays it, and I bet he says that line in every town, so fuck you james - you're no less fake than billy.

another cringe modified lyric was TryTryTry "In Montreal, With the Nashville tears"... ugh. I cringe every time a frontman says the name of the town they're in.

those two dudes being escorted out on the right hand side... that was a lot of security. one of them seemed chill but the other looked like he was enjoying resisting the escort and wanted to be carried out. those were big dudes too. you sure they were on acid?

I had some Brazilians behind me... cool peeps. enjoy mtl. but why'd half of you leave so early? You were drunk literally saying "this is the song they're playing now, omg I can't believe they're playing this song"... LOL. and fyi, there's more than just drums on the jimmy complex albums.

There's definitely some processing in the highs that's bizarre. I suspect there's some pitch correction going on with billy's voice that's being masked with the blown out high-end. he's TOO much on pitch. either his singing has gotten impeccable or along with the pre-programmed Broadway show he's got a programmed auto-tune to follow him knowing ahead of time what note he wants to hit (which is of much higher quality than your usual on the fly pitch correction that has to guess live what pitch the singer is trying to sing)
They didn't play the rat in the cage sample, billy didn't even scream. he just pulled away from the mic.


att SP camp. get your fucking amps and cabs back on stage. do you even have cabs sidestage or is it all into loads with DI?

The no amps on stage thing bothers me more than it probably should. Just something not quite right about it. The only bands I know that do that are firmly in the lame category.

I saw Boris at a festival in November and even seeing their amps queued up side stage while the band before them finished was bad ass. Looked like they were going to absolutely destroy everyone there.

He didn't say that in Atlanta. I absolutely hated the "Stairway to Heaven" cover. I would have trimmed a handful of moments off the show, but if I had to choose one it would be "Stairway." To Billy's credit, however, it may have gotten the biggest applause of the night. So good on Billy; I guess...

The only good things I can say about it was that I laughed at Billy dropping "do you remember laughter" and Jeff really did nail the solo. The fact that he played it so well leads me to believe Billy has a huge say in how Jeff sounds and plays in Smashing Pumpkins material.
