Radiohead current 2006 tour question
Seems to be a lot of radiohead fans here...
I am going to the chicago show tomorrow, and was wondering, have there been opening bands for this tour? Or is it just radiohead? Thx in advance. |

It'll either be Deerhoof or The Black Keys. Not sure which is opening for Chicago.

Actually it was both. The 6/17 TN date listed above was a music festival with both Beck and Radiohead, and they played the last 2 spots in that order.
I have seen Beck in a smaller venue during the first leg of the Guero tour and it was awesome. Even the lame crowd got woken up a bit and started grooving! |

so for Zorgon, Christ, and Cherub DayDream -- any clue how long the openign band plays for?
the issue is that the ticket says 7pm, and i am in training in the burbs this week, so i need to calculate when i can get back downtown by. |

willy mason and the black keys played for 30-40 minutes in toronto/montreal respectively.
radiohead came on roughly one hour after the scheduled show start time. |

They had some live webcasts from Bonnaroo - from the AT&T Blue Room or something like that, search for it I'm not sure if they're still doing it. It wasn't live it was just taped live, I figured that out when we were watching Les Claypool and he played the day before - so who knows, you might be able to find it if they taped it.

**So the show last night at Auditorium theater was fucking awesome!!!**
FUCKING. AWESOME. They played for 2 hours and 15min, with 2 encores. They played a bunch of brand new radiohead songs, some of which I don't have on any of my May 2006 live shows. They didn't play Arpeggi or as much old stuff as they did the last time we saw them live, but since one of the purposes of this tour is to play new material, that was expected. Fucking amazing. Between this and Tool I am really fucking loving the Auditorium Theater. The sound in there really kicks ass. Radiohead had a cool stage setup too, with broken sections of screens like a shattered screen, where 1 image could be displayed on the broken pieces, versus multiple images (not as huge a setup as the Hail to the Theif tour). Here is the awesome setlist. As you can see, no Pablo Honey songs whatsoever. And only 1 song from The Bends. A whopping 9 news songs...and of course the ok computer and hail to the theif stuff. 01 You and Whose Army? 02 The National Anthem 03 15 Step (new song) 04 Morning Bell 05 Exit Music (For A Film) 06 Open Pick (new song) 07 Videotape (new song) 08 Knives Out 09 The Gloaming 10 Nude (new song) 11 Down Is The New Up (new song) 12 Paranoid Android 13 Bangers 'N Mash (new song) 14 Like Spinning Plates 15 Spooks (new song) 16 Idioteque 17 There There Encore 1 18 A Wolf At The Door19 4 Minute Warning (new song) 20 Bones 21 Lucky Encore 2 22 House of Cards (new song) 23 Everything In Its Right Place |
